Y'all aren't paying attention, Thunderlightning/viper97: they can't do multiplayer with flash... so you might stop asking, because it's really, really, really, repetitive. And repetitive. Did I mention that it's repetitive?
Admins: environmentally, just about anything will keep us die-hard fans coming back. Be nice to have mission branches that are influenced by performance on a previous mission, if that's possible. Tree-choices branching out, based on success/failure of a mission; maybe even whether the pilot shoots down enemy parachutes on a particular mission.

Kaltros, do YOU know what Flash is? They CAN do, and they DO. An idea about multiplayer is real, and it would be good to be done.

admin: There will be more games in the Dogfight series, multiplayer is not on the cards for the next version as Flash is just not up to the task for a realtime action game.
We are listening to all your feedback and have some great plans for the next title, at this point it's hard to say when it will be out as it takes time to get the gameplay/missions just right.
We could just churn out another release with remixed missions, but we would rather spend time on it and put out a new title that is really polished and worth the wait.
SO....... Kaltros was right and there was no need to say he sucks because he was right.

I'm sorry, but i have seen many great games supporting multiplayer, and they worked pretty good on my weak machine, so I think that it's still real

Ideas for Dogfight 3.
1. When attacking the bombers from D2, and you shoot a bomber down it shouldn`t automatically take out the bomber below it on the way down -too easy.
2. In D2 there are too many bombs making it too easy to plaster things out of your way. Fewer bombs would make D3 it more challenging.
3. The bombers from D2 should be able to move in response to attacks making them a harder target.
4. The English airship in D2, when you hit the underside gun ports they shouldn`t automatically take out targets below when they detach, again too easy.
5. When attacking the airship/zeppelin there should be fighters protecting it to deal with.
6. There should be a limitation of bullets from your machine-guns, either from over-heating which causes a temporary jamming of fire, or a limitation of bullets, to encourage more use of skill rather than plastering everying in sight with a degree of fire that`s unrealistic and too easy.
7. There should be a landing and take off option, which if you muck it up causes a prang.
8. A scenario for ground strafing of targets which are hard to hit as they move, such as an infantry column caught out and scattering? Also bombing hostile artillery positions which are firing on your infantry, and you have a limited time to eliminate them before they cancel your infantry out. Also bombing villages which are being used as billets by hostile infantry units?
9. The most enjoyable aspects of D.1 & 2 is the mass aerial dogfight, with a large number of aircraft mixing it up, but they tend to all bunch in 1 small area. It would be better to have a stretched out running fight over some distance where the fighter can mix it & match it in passing fleeting skirmishes, allowing greater freedom to use flying tactics of manouvre to survive and keep fighting. I`ve tried to do this by heading away from the main bunched up fight and leading members of the opposition after me, but have found that for some reason their guns cease to work and they are too easy to shoot down - fun but not challenging.
10. In a dogfight there should be an option for either party to surrender to their opponent(s), either with a device signalling a surrender (which might be accepted or not), or an option to run away from the contest and a portal they can head for allowing them out of the game. It would be more realistic for some units to funk it rather than that they all remorselessly fight to the death on every occasion.
11. When shooting down objects, balloons, bombers, etc., if you fly into the path of the falling target you are damaged or destroyed by it, at the moment flying thru it unharmed is too easy.
12. For some reason a seaborn scenario seems attractive, all that blue shimmer beneath & splashes.
13. Possibly also a raid on a hostile aerodrome, having to make a concealed approach at deck level or the defences rally more quickly, and bombing and shooting up ground targets with hostile machines trying to get up on the grass runway to get at you, and perhaps the threat of units arriving on the scene returning from ops. whilst you`re enagaged in smashing up their base.

The next Dogfight will have a very wide range of missions and a lot of new features.
We are making it more realistic but at the same time keeping the arcade style action from Dogfight 2.
The development time is longer as it's around 3 to 4 times bigger then DF2.

IDEA FOR DF.3
I`ve just started playing both DF.1 & DF.2 with the self-imposed restriction of having to try to avoid aerial collisions with other machines - both of the opposition & your own side - and found it to be far more of a challenge in its requirement of manouvre for angle of attack but also to avoid being destroyed by hitting other machines. It`s brought DF.1 back to life.
DF.3 could possibly have the capacity to allow aerial collisions, destroying both aircraft in a mid-air smash-up when they occur. It would be a real challange, and provide a more realistic element as to what air-fighter pilots (both old & new) have to deal with.
QUESTION
Who drew the graphics in DF.1, both the title backdrop scene & the scene card separating each of the levels? They`re very good.

For me, I like:
- overheat of the machine-gun (must wait a moment before shooting again) or limitation of the ammunition.
- the aircraft should be vulnerable to his own bombs and "friendly" fires
- the possibility to eject the pilot (would save a life)
- a "spiral key" or combination to avoid enemy fires from 6 hours (from the back)
- battle mode : just select the numbers of friendly and enemy fighters and... fight !

they should introduce different allies or enemys you can choose from and different planes or having the choice to do something else like gunning planes from the ground or being a bomber with with where there are alot of guns to control like for example you could press 1 and press space to fire from the top,bottom,back or front.

FOR THE MULTIPLAYER on dog fight 3 I have seen it happen on sites but I have also seen a post by the admin that they can NOT do online multiplayer with flash. The sites I have seen multiplayer w/ flash r xgen, they own a server and r the leader in online gaming so rocksolid not have the potential
