Robokill 2 - Bug reports

Note: I moved this to the bug forum and updated the list of bugs.

To the authors of the game. I found a couple of bugs. Also, I've got a few observations;
- After level 37 it is leveling up is extremely difficult. I'm guessing this is a bug. I remember it being a little hard to get the higher levels in Robokill 1, but it wasn't THIS hard. At this rate it would take days of continuous play to reach level 44. There is no incentive to play for that long.
- Seeker Droid: The item description says "Damage", but I think it's suppose to say "Recharge Time" since the value gets lower the higher the level.
- The screen at the end of the game says "Robots killed". It should probably say "Aliens" or something more neutral like "Enemies".
- The recharge times listed on a couple of items do not match their real value. A few charge way faster/slower then they should.
- Sometimes the bull robots get 'confused' and keep walking into the wall.
- When you die, the enemy reclaims 3 rooms instead of 2.
- A lot of weapons have 'enhancements' that don't make any sense. Example: Devastator "hits multiple targets" - This weapon already hits multiple targets by default.
- The printed fire rate for all "hold-to-fire" weapons doesn't match their actual firing rate. Very misleading as these are the slowest firing weapons in the game.
- If you get enough experience to level up after defeating the boss on level 12, you immediately lose that experience when you start another level.
- Not a bug, but irritating: I realize this is a flash game and the save data is stored in cookies, but cookies are easily deleted by a number of programs. I had to start over a few times due to this. Many people playing the demo might give up if they find they cannot restore, thus resulting in lost business.
- I enjoy challenges, but the first couple of levels might be a little bit too difficult for many. You might consider dumbing it down a little and reserving the difficulty for later levels. Or perhaps adding difficulty settings.
- Expansion pack please?

In at least the first 2 rooms of "mission 2" enemies take no damage from light blasters. Is this intentional?

Found a good example of the recharge times being messed up.
The recharge time the L5 Stealth Mine says 13
The recharge time for the L5 Shockwave says 7
Yet when you actually use the weapons it's obvious that the Stealth Mine charges much faster then the Shockwave.

Devastators do not benefit from: hits-multiple-targets, freeze, Knockback, rate-of-fire, or bullet-speed.
Shredders do not benefit from: hits-multiple-targets

I'll post more later.

The exp. lost after defeting the Boss in Level 12 is aggravating. And what about an"Hardmode"?
When you have Level 37 for example you can chose the Hardmode an Play Level 1-12 again with more powerfull Enemies. Or what about an Transferoption from Robokill1 to Robokill2 and back.

I have to agree with all of Ravicai's points. The most frusterating for me is the leveling up issue though. Im currently at level 38 and it is taking forever. I played twice through thinking I missed something the first time around, but alas I havent. Attaining max level in Rk1 was much more fun, this is just monotonous, and subsequently no fun.

Thanks for letting us know about these issues! We're working on a patch for the game.

Greetings!

I seem to have a bug about which I haven't read here yet. The strenghts of my light laser seem to change from gameplay to gameplay. Just just some minutes ago I bought a unique light laser with +20% ROF. At this time this was my most powerful light laser of four et al. After completing the level and starting it again (yet haven't bought the full game of RK2), my strongest one was only +18% and all the other light lasers were also significantly weaker then before.

Best wishes!

On level 11, there's a blue key that never gets used / has no matching door. I also noticed that from level 8 onward, the map "lies" about which rooms have connecting doors, often show that a room with only 1 or 2 connections has connections to all 4 adjacent room.

the bull robots run in the air sometinmes! did anyone else notice this?
anyways, room 2 mission 2 is way to hard, the bats make mincemeat out of you, I had to stay on it for 45 minutes before i finished the first wave, then got killed by reinforcements. I think you dont get enough exp. because at lvl2 i was lvl 4 or something and had medium blasters and got killed all the time. also the turrets never helped me, am i doing something wrong? cause i have shotguns, and sometimes i shoot them. P.S.is the patch ready yet?
