Note: I moved this to the bug forum and updated the list of bugs.
To the authors of the game. I found a couple of bugs. Also, I've got a few observations;
- After level 37 it is leveling up is extremely difficult. I'm guessing this is a bug. I remember it being a little hard to get the higher levels in Robokill 1, but it wasn't THIS hard. At this rate it would take days of continuous play to reach level 44. There is no incentive to play for that long.
- Seeker Droid: The item description says "Damage", but I think it's suppose to say "Recharge Time" since the value gets lower the higher the level.
- The screen at the end of the game says "Robots killed". It should probably say "Aliens" or something more neutral like "Enemies".
- The recharge times listed on a couple of items do not match their real value. A few charge way faster/slower then they should.
- Sometimes the bull robots get 'confused' and keep walking into the wall.
- When you die, the enemy reclaims 3 rooms instead of 2.
- A lot of weapons have 'enhancements' that don't make any sense. Example: Devastator "hits multiple targets" - This weapon already hits multiple targets by default.
- The printed fire rate for all "hold-to-fire" weapons doesn't match their actual firing rate. Very misleading as these are the slowest firing weapons in the game.
- If you get enough experience to level up after defeating the boss on level 12, you immediately lose that experience when you start another level.
- Not a bug, but irritating: I realize this is a flash game and the save data is stored in cookies, but cookies are easily deleted by a number of programs. I had to start over a few times due to this. Many people playing the demo might give up if they find they cannot restore, thus resulting in lost business.
- I enjoy challenges, but the first couple of levels might be a little bit too difficult for many. You might consider dumbing it down a little and reserving the difficulty for later levels. Or perhaps adding difficulty settings.
- Expansion pack please?
Test machine: Win XP Pro, Core2Duo 2.4ghz, nVidia 8800GT, Firefox 3.5.7, Flash 10
