Anyone considered multiplayer possibilities for Robokill? This is something I would like to see.

I think what would be really neat is if you guys set up a team based arena multiplayer map. Each side gets a team of 5 players. The map consists of two sides (half of the map for one team). On each side randomly generate the following... a location for a crashed abandoned spaceship (filled with rooms full of foe), a complex, difficult to navigate, underground network of passages, that would eventually lead to the other side (the opposing team's base location), and between 3-6 abandoned robot factories that can be re-awakened. There is the potential to have classes chosen as well. The objective of the game is to send as many robots as possible to destroy the enemy factories, there will of course be a vendor on each side where you can buy minimal weapons and ammunition, as well as teleport modules that allow you to teleport to the enemies position yourself and kill their defences and them. This game may sound simular to you if you have player hero line wars in Warcraft 3 TFT. concepts would be simular to that.
At the start players would scrounge the map looking for repair kits and power cells to make the factory robot generators operational. When a player has them and places them in the approprait slots in the factories they emediately start sending waves of robots to the enemy team. There are also other defense and healing systems inside the factory that players can take advantage of, but they require a lot of time searching the map (the space ship, the undergroup network, etc. to get the repair kits and power cells to get all this up and running, valuable time that could have been used fighting off the enemies wave. But as a team, with possible classes, you would have to decide who is going to take on what rolls. Of course resources can be pooled/traded. What do you guys think of this arena based multiplayer? If any of the makers want to talk more about ideas, I have a lot.

The single player is great! if you added this multiplayer feature and allow players to retain their experience level as they enter arenas and match up against similarly skilled opponets as well, you guys could have a very valuable game, and even generate limitless possibilities. So many people would want to keep playing that arena there would be tons of people logged in. There is also the potential for other multiplayer options.
