Hits Multiple Targets is essential. I don't use any weapon that doesn't have that (except at the very beginning)

I have a light pulse gun. I have not tried hits multiple targets.

my strongest weapom is the light laser. VERY good aim and good damage for lvl 1,2,3 and 4.

For the last levels I used two heavy shredders with freeze and two heavy pulse guns with knockback. Without freeze and knockback you are totally screwed imho.

For the earlier levels I suggest using lasers as sideweapon, because you can shoot through obstacles with them.

I never use knockback or freeze. Its because you cant kill bots with them.

mdmatze is right on, you can't beat the last mission without freeze and knockback.

I use:
3 x rare Heavy Shredder

Hits multiple targets with freeze

1 x rare Heavy Pulse Shotgun
Damage: 24
ROF: 2.32
+14% ROF, Knockback

3 x Level 8 Shield Chargers, Boost: 48

Knockback stinks unless you're already at max level and don't care about any pickups.

Heavy Pulse Shotguns or Heavy Pulse Guns with Freeze and Hits Multiple Targets are superior.

Cherjw: agree with the knockback statement but you must not have gotten any Heavy Shredders yet. You cannot beat the game without using them.

I now only use rare Heavy Shredders:

I can basically "walk" through Mission 13. :-)

I don't entirely understand how the Shredder weapon works. It looks like it should have splash damage, but doesn't seem to do much damage at all.

I dunno, maybe I just don't get it.

The new strongest weapon I have found:

Rare Heavy Shredder:
Damage: 70
ROF: 3.70
Hit multiple targets, +10% ROF, Freeze.

With four Heavy Shredders that Freeze, you can pretty much breeze through the last mission (Mission 13).

What dose "Hits multiple targets" even do
Dose it go through robots and hit the robot behind it?

Hits Multiple Targets does make the projectiles penetrate through the enemy and damage anyone behind them, yes.

OP: Heavy shredders all the way... found one rare one and 3 uncommon, rare one has freeze and hits multiple, and the others have rate of fire and/or freeze
The Shredders are the best since you can control the range, and does the most damage as far as I can tell.. the range control is essential for "sleeping" assassin bots.

Freeze and ROF are the best gun upgrades IMHO... knockback is a good secondary for the "seeking" type enemies, ROF of course increases overall damage, and hits multiple targets is nice but also dangerous for "sleeping" enemies or "bugs"... of course on the Shredder or Laser type weapons it makes you wonder what hits multiple targets even means.. lol

Note: on the last level of the game, shield chargers are useless so switch out to riot shields and emergency repair.

IMO Heavy Pulse Shotguns (PS) are superior to Heavy Shredders. Sure, shredders do more DPS but the spread of the PS is what saves your bacon in a crowded room. Especially if said PS' have 'hits multiple targets'.

The ONLY setup that can effectively deal with the very last mission AND the final stage. Its the only setup that can kill the homing little critters fast enough and still damage the boss. Although 'Weapons Array 01' can still be used in substitute.. you will find that you have to do a hell of a lot of work with it in order to survive.. =/ I feel that the 'Hits Multi Targets' attribute doesn't matter as much with this.. the increased ROF & Bullet Speed does make a difference though.

Well, Hello everyone, im new the forums, but a massive Robokill Fan, good to see number 2 is out, a massive improvment to number 1. anyway, my strongest weapon, is a Heavy Blaster, Rare, +28% Rate of fire, and Hits Multible targets. i have all 4 of the same weapon all Heavy. I make sure at LEAST 3 of my weapons are Hit Multiple Target in the early levels, these things shread enemies.
